Far & Wide
Far & Wide is a talented mix of award-winning middle and high school musicians from the Omaha area performing blues, funk and soul standards at a level much higher than their ages would predict. Far & Wide was formed in 2012 within the award-winning BluesED program and is sponsored by the Blues Society of Omaha. The band has been honored to play many of the area’s top festivals and venues including The Slowdown, Taste of Omaha, Playing With Fire, Soaring Wings Winery, Taste of Omaha, RAGBRAI, and many more.
In 2019 the band was selected to represent The Blues Society of Omaha at the International Blues Challenge Youth Showcase in Memphis, TN.
