This Saturday night, August 27th, is the second in the Playing with Fire concert series this summer. For 13 years now, Playing with Fire has given our BluesEd bands the chance to open the concert for well-known, International touring blues artist and this year is no different!
BluesEd band, The Redwoods, open the stage at Midtown Crossing at 4:30. Local Lincoln favorite, Levi William and his band follows. Next up is the one-man band extraordinaire, Steve Hill. Finally, the one and only, living legend Walter Trout! All Playing with Fire events are free! Green space opens at 3:30. Bring your blankets, chairs, picnic baskets & beverages. Parking is free for 3 hours in the Midtown Crossing Garages and then it's only $1/hr thereafter. Our BluesEd students have the opportunity to play with the headliners from Playing with Fire. Drink specials and appetizers available. We'll Keep the Fire Burning all night long!
